Summary
Link made his way through the city late at night. He swiped a few coins out a purse, a watch here and there, and anything shiny that he could swipe without it being noticed.
He pulled over to an alley, looking at his ill gotten gains. He would be able to sell the four watches away from castle town. For now, he had enough money to buy himself dinner for the night.
Then he heard some voices talking, giggling among themselves.
“I can’t believe we did this.”
He shoved the watches and coins into his bag, hiding behind a barrel as the three walked into the alleyway, catching their breath.
“Do you think anyone saw us?” a males voice asked.
“I hope not.” Another answered.
The three laughed, pulling off their hoods. Link recognized them as the royal siblings. Markus, the crown prince, Hallow, the prince knight. And Zelda, the princess he hadn’t heard much about her but all the art depicted of her described her as a golden maiden. Link had no idea what that meant.

Summary
Usagi was having that strange dream again. He’d had it for the better part of a year. And there was always someone there.
A kappa. And there was always something chasing him but Usagi could never quite see it. He’d sit with this Kappa. Usagi would talk but he could never hear him. The kappa talked too, but mostly about how to dodge attacks and keep himself safe. Trying to stayalive until his brothers came. He was convinced they were coming.
This time, Usagi didn’t see the kappa. The space was quiet.
Then he saw it. The thing that had been hunting the kappa. It looked like nothing he’s ever seen. Like a box of meat that was wet and with tentacles. It looked angry.
It turned, and somehow Usagi knew it saw him. It roared and lunged for him.
