Summary
By all accounts, the child's presence here was impossible.
I know of "Mirror worlds." Of those far off possibilities that some Cityfolk seem so interested in these days. But this was not that. In this child's mind I saw many strange things: Words I had never heard, sights that do not exist. In every conceivable way the child was alien, not just to The City, but to this world in its entirety.
Now he awakes from his slumber; confused and alone. Curious, but afraid. It is dark now, and he will not last long.
This is fine.
I will watch over this child, from now until his time of death. And if he lives to see the day, my voice might guide him to be his truest self.

Summary
Eboshi Shinshun really only came to Honnō City for two reasons:
1. Get an education
2. Find himself a better house.
He didn't quite get the ladder, but there's still hope for the former! All he's got to do is survive the next two years or so of Honnōji Academy's totalitarian hierarchy, and he'll be home free.
Assuming he finds that home, anyway.
Fight on, Eboshi. Nobody ever said securing your future would be easy.

Summary
Quote should be happy. He really should.
For someone of his kind to find peace should have been impossible. But he did it anyway. He braved through hell, walked out with an eternal friend and faithful companion by his side, and carved out a small piece of the world for himself, where he could live out the rest of his days in freedom.
But it wasn't a bloodless victory. The fact that there was blood at all makes him remember just what he is.
But that's not what this story is about. Not entirely, at least.
What starts off as an attempt to settle old regrets leads to Quote trekking through a field of mid-spring snow, making him remember that yes, magic is real, and its only ever caused him trouble.

Summary
In which a boy learns how to hold a sword, buckle his pants, roll with the punches, and not die. Because, y’know, not dying is very important. Especially if you’ve got a home to get back to.
Also, Anime!
