Summary
The sun had set on the Wilderland. The profile of the Emyn Muil was barely visible in the fog that had fallen with the autumn night, and the only sounds were the crackling of the campfire and the occasional chirp of birds.
That and a ragged breath coming from the shadows out of the light circle of the fire.
A basket full of fish was at my side, covered with lemon and a rag to avoid making the whole camp smell like fish.
The creature was probably starving.

Summary
The carriage stopped at the new carriage stop in Westcliff.
Sparrow got off it and looked around surprised: it was completely different from when they left.
In ten years in which Sparrow was in the Spire, the poor, filthy, and rogue-filled camp had become like a little Bowerstone. New shops, new houses, a tavern with a roof. Families of people from the medium-upper class were walking around that place that was filled with screams, ruffles and swears.
For some reason, seeing all those changes made Sparrow feel uncomfortable. Or maybe it was just the realization that a lot of time had passed. Ten years.
Ten years.
They barely remembered their own name
Someone waved from the side, followed by a familiar voice that made their train of thoughts crumble.
«Sparrow! My old partner! How have you been? Have you ever seen a bigger change?».

Summary
After finally getting some points in the competition, Kaveh is filled with hope and excitement. He looks forward to a fun night of drinking and socializing with his friends, only to run into Alhaitham at the tavern; the very person he's trying to get away from by winning the competition. However, Kaveh's annoyance quickly turns to concern once Alhaitham starts acting strange, much stranger than he ever has before while drunk. An emotional night and day follow as Alhaitham drunkenly opens the door to conversation that could alter Kaveh's perception of the competition, as well as the trajectory of both of their futures.
