Six months after Sunny’s suicide, Aubrey gets invited to Kel and Hero’s house to play a strange and disturbing game they found called OMORI. In it, they’re horrified to find it follows Sunny in the three days leading up to his death.
What secrets is the game hiding from them? What secrets are they hiding from each other? Can they uncover the real truth behind Sunny’s death? Or perhaps even change the outcome?
A very shattered Post-Bad ending gang plays OMORI in order to find the truth while hopefully repairing their broken friendships on the way.

Summary
Four years after Sunny's supposed death, Kel Basil and Aubrey discover that he'd been hiding in the abandoned Suzuki house in an attempt to protect the rest of the world from his vampiric form. Over time, the town of Faraway is able to put their fears aside and accept Sunny for what he is. But when Mari finds out that her husk of a brother isn't as dangerous as she thought, a web of lies comes crashing down as she's forced to overcome her sanguivoriphobia.

Summary
[CW: Homophobic slurs; Atheism] Sunny and Kel are teenage boys with enough emotional baggage to fill all the overhead compartments of a 747. They would do well to unpack it together, but haven't spoken in years despite being neighbors. It's easier not to dredge up the past, after all. But Kel gets a rude awakening on the first day of summer vacation telling him that as far as he and Sunny are concerned, it's now or never. Will the strength of their old bonds finally compel them to start speaking again? And will they discover something deeper than friendship as they dig through their shared trauma together?
Canonically, Kel repeatedly called Sunny before THREE DAYS LEFT, but Sunny ignored his calls.
But what if he didn't? Find out in this story.
This fic will focus on Sunny and Kel, but other characters will be introduced and play meaningful roles as the story unfolds. Expect plenty of angst, soul-searching, and general emo-ness, but some happier, lighter moments as well. Also, I don't buy into the whole "all the parents in OMORI are horrible people" trope, so I tried to humanize them ... they're flawed but trying their best.
