the year is 1942- war is ongoing in europe, tensions are rising, and ryan bergara is staying out of it. he prefers instead to study animals- and he will be doing just that in a jungle in africa, studying an unknown creature terrorizing the scientists already there. having never left america before, he will find himself a fish out of water. maybe someone can help him find his place...
(based loosely on the ZABA album) (also, probably the most tame fic i've written (gore wise) )
EDIT (10/9/23): I will be starting this fic again. However, any and all shipping elements are removed, as I have matured since I began the fic and realized that writing a real-person ship fic is just weird. Besides, the ship doesn't even work for this fic anyways. So, enjoy the very platonic fic.
