His nails dug into the skin of her neck, making her rise onto her tiptoes as he partially lifted her up.
“Please,” she whimpered. “Don’t kill me.”
He let out a huff. “Kill you?” he asked with a chuckle. “I’m not going to kill you, little rabbit. I’m going to breed you.”
Lightning flash revealing a creature that didn’t exist.
“You’re a-” The word stuck in her throat because it was impossible. He was impossible.
“Demon.”
