Summary
So it starts like this: he and Harry are lounging about in their LA house when Niall realizes he wants to spend the rest of his life with him. And it’s not like he never thought about it, it’s that all those other times he thought of it as a sort of abstract concept. He wasn’t planning on leaving, and sure as hell Harry wasn’t either, so naturally they would be together forever. It never occurred to him that he wanted to marry Harry, officially, big ceremony with his ma crying and all. And that sort of takes him by surprise.
So now he’s got into the idea of planning a perfect proposal. Sure, he could just ask Harry over dinner one night and have it done with, but he didn’t want that. After everything they went through to even be together, they both deserved a nice story to tell their future children and both their mothers. Also, Harry deserved better.

Anakin shifted on his feet in front of the Council. He, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka had succeeded on yet another mission after what seemed like months, finally away from the horrors of battle. Away from the blood and blaster fire and clones dropping like flies, and back to the hustle and bustle of Coruscant. Reporting in front of the Council.
Or they were supposed to be, anyway. Anakin could barely stay on his feet, let alone keep his voice level enough to not cause suspicion.
His gaze drifted over to Obi-Wan, standing next to him. He liked to watch Obi-Wan talk, seemingly giving all of his attention to the masters in front of him while also brushing along Anakin with the Force.
Case in point, Anakin felt phantom hands tracing the muscles in his calves and pinching his inner thighs before grabbing the meat under Anakin’s ass tightly. They pried him open, unseen underneath his leggings and tunics. He could feel one ‘thumb’ brush against the plug he had buried in him. He could feel his breath catch in his chest as Obi-Wan guided it back in and out, fucking him slow and deep before the entire Council.

Niall shook his head. “No. Me first time, actually. How about you?”
“Oh, yeah,” said Harry with a nod, the curls next to his ears flopping with the movement. “I’ve been here loads of times.”
“Yer not the one she talked about, are ya? Been here sixty-two times or something?”
Harry blushed slightly—it was beautiful, really, thought Niall—and said, “Yes. That’s”—he shrugged and looked a little embarrassed—“I like to cook.”
“Reckon ya do if yeh’ve been here sixty-two times,” said Niall with a grin.
“Do you?” asked Harry. “Like to cook, I mean?”
Niall gave a wry chuckle. “No. I’m rubbish.”
_________When Niall decides he needs to learn to cook after his boyfriend of six years leaves him, he starts taking cooking classes at a nearby cooking school. He meets a shy young man who he soon decides is the most fascinating person he’s ever met. They form a friendship and eventually discover they have something a bit different than a shared interest in cooking in common.
