Part 2 (3?) to my Zaun Viktor AU where he and Jinx are partners in crime. Except I didn't write this in a fugue state this time and the plot was intentional. Lots of other relationships, more characters, JayVik gets a bigger focus, and Jinx gets a lot of POV scenes.

Jayce rubs his temples, glancing between the different diagrams of the anomaly. “Right, just to clarify: you’re saying that a version of me from the future appeared, destroyed our lab, tried to kill you and then demanded you blow up the Hexgates. And you actually want to do it. Am I missing anything?”
Viktor hesitates, before throwing caution to the wind. Unreserved honesty will prevent any miscommunication later. “You also kissed me.”
Jayce’s head whips around. “I— What?”
“You - he - kissed me. And…” Viktor trails off, gesturing vaguely - uncertain of how much he should reveal. He’s always seen sex rather candidly, never understanding Piltover’s insistence on maintaining taboo; but out of consideration for Jayce, it seems polite to keep the details to himself.
His hand motion must convey more than enough. Jayce flushes from the crown of his head to his Adam’s apple, and buries his face in his hands.

Jinx glanced behind when she didn’t hear Vi follow, raising an eyebrow in question when she saw Vi’s expression and closing the distance between them before Vi could blink. Freaky. She grabbed Vi’s injured (or well, more injured) hand without warning, turning it around and examining it from all angles. When she seemed to be done, she glanced up at Vi, frowning.
“You were hurting, too.”
Vi blinked dumbly.
Her hand?
“Yeah.”
“That’s why you hit her?”
And suddenly, suddenly it wasn’t about Isha anymore and her heart clenched painfully.
