Summary
An au where regulus and Remus died in the war
Based on the song Fourth of July by Sufjan Stevens
James and Sirius new the risks of fighting in a war against the most powerful dark wizard in the world but neither of them ever thought that they would loose the two people that they loved just as much or even more then each other.
James and Sirius don’t know how to talk to eacother now that Remus and Reg are gone how is James supposed to talk to Sirius about losing regulus and how damn hard it is when Sirius also lost him. He lost his brother and his true love how can James pain compare to that.
All James wants to do is be there for Sirius and he really tries but this time he doesn’t know how because losing regulus is the single most painful thing he’s ever had happen to him and he doesn’t know how to deal with it.
Sirius needs his best friend right now but he knows James is struggling too but James always tries to push his feelings down for other people so he can comfort them but Sirius wants to be there for James this time even though he has no idea how because he lost his brother and his fiancé he and Remus never even got to have their wedding.

Sirius still goes to Azkaban but gets out the year Harry is supposed to start hogwarts and will do anything to get his old life back or anything that resembles it
Remus has never truly believed everything they said about Sirius and why he was in prison but some little part of him did. So when Sirius came home Remus didn’t really know what to do or how to feel
Harry Potter has been living with his aunt and uncle since his parents died in a car crash or so he thinks, so what will happen when he finds out he’s a wizard and there’s a lot of stuff that Harry doesn’t know
Draco malfoy has a home two parents and lots of money so why is it that his life has never felt complete, until he goes to hogwarts and meet Harry Potter and his life changes forever.
