A burst of laughter isn’t exactly what he was expecting from Ajaw, but it’s admittedly not all that surprising, either.
“Hah, good one, I see it now,” he exclaims, his shrill cackles echoing in the Phlogiston-filled walls, “Kinich, that’s hilarious.”
Even seasoned adventurers are blindsided sometimes, whether it's by an unexpected encounter in the wilderness or a strange plant lurking in the depths of an ancient ruin. Some of them are lucky enough to have two very enthusiastic helpers at the ready to deal with the consequences.
