    Katsuki gets surprised by someone barging in on his motorbike to escape three guys chasing him. He doesn't know yet that the guy who just threatened him is gonna make his new college life take a heavy turn, leading him through drug addiction issues, talks about way too serious topics and traumas. Lots of traumas.

    They meet again at the start of college in some unexpected circumstances after years of not seeing each other, and Katsuki learns what Izuku has gone through -- and what he's still going through with his current roommate who makes his life a living hell.

    Midoriya Izuku knew that all men were not created equal.

    He knew that when he was diagnosed quirkless at 5.

    He knew that when his Dad left and his friends at school started leaving bruises on his arms.

    He was confused when he woke up one morning with a voice in his head warning him not to eat octopus again, but he got used to the other person in his mind. It helped to have someone on his side, someone who could take over when Izuku couldn't do it anymore.

    Now, at 14, Izuku just wanted to get out of Middle School and go to UA. (Not even the Hero Course. Just Gen Ed. He'd work his way up.)

    And then he jumped.

    He knew, then, how cruel it was to have been treated as an unequal.
