Summary
Blackbeard stood up with his large and intimidating form, walking forward until he was above the other pirate. Then, he knelt and gripped Ace’s dark hair, pulling it until the younger man’s beaten face was in view.
Black locks thick with dust, tangled into knots. The freckles that decorated his face were covered by dirt and fresh blood that ran down his head. But most importantly, his breathing was shallow, signaling he was still alive. Although barely.
A pleased, sinister grin spread across his face, exposing the gaps across a row of teeth. “Finally,” he whispered, “He’s mine.”
AKA after the fight between Blackbeard and Ace, instead of handing him over to the marines, Blackbeard decides to to have him brainwashed into thinking he was his husband.
