    Powder’s eyes went wide as she read the large letters printed on the paper that Ekko had shoved in her face. He was practically vibrating with excitement, unable to hold back his wide smile as he waited for his best friend to finish reading.

    “Powder this is our chance to make something super cool! I just know we can win!” Powder met his eyes, her face now matching the excitement on Ekko’s features.

    “Yes, yes, omg yes! Let’s do it! I have so many ideas already! We could build the fastest scooter ever! Or a monkey toy that moves on its own! Or a pair of super cool boots! Or…”

    AU where Ekko, Powder, Viktor, and Jayce are all the same age, about 10/11, and work together on an invention for Zaun's Junior Innovator Competition. More tags to be added as the story continues. The relationships only develop after a time skip when the characters are older.

    “They’re making out in the lab.”

    “Yeah, they do that a lot.”

    “But they’re not boyfriends?”

    “We don’t talk about it.”

    The first time Viktor kissed Jayce, it was a quick peck on the cheek, followed by a casual conversation. The next time it's on the lips, but then it's back to talk about formulas. Jayce concludes it must be a cultural thing, and also starts to kiss Viktor back. Everybody else is confused.

    A story of two friends kissing each other, who are definitely not boyfriends.
