He made a vow within himself to round them all up and bring them to the safety of the compound. It's taken him, Natasha, and Pepper 7 years to find Sam, Clint, Bucky, Wanda, and Scott.

This gives me a whole new meaning for a love hate relationship and I do mean how I feel about this book not the plot itself. Slavery, hurt/comfort, intense as hell. Good shit but also makes me hate the author at times as well as a character but that also makes me like the author cause they’re a damn good one.

Well, he thinks, a bit hysterically, there is one person.
“Did you come just to stare?” The bored drawl startles Atsushi as the man’s head lolls back to look at him with his one unbandaged eye, “Or do you have something to say,” A pause, then a manic grin, “Did you come to kill me, weretiger?”
So this was the boss of the Port Mafia. Not exactly what Atsushi expected.
The Director of the orphanage dies. Atsushi finds someone who can relate. Somehow, a bond is formed.

Kouyou had called a meeting, once she’d helped Chuuya dispose of the body – and fuck, is that weird to think. That they were disposing of Mori, who had always seemed immortal, as though he could chase off death itself with his scalpels – and now, all of the Port Mafia’s highest officials stand before him.
There are others, of course, even if there are only a handful. Hirotsu, because there is no denying his importance in the mafia – it’s not often that someone outlives not one, but two bosses, after all – and the Akutagawa siblings, because while they aren’t executives, he can damn well trust them, and Chuuya needs people he can trust.
“He was assassinated by an unknown person,” Chuuya continues, now that he has everyone’s attention, “and was found by Kouyou and myself, when the two of us arrived at a meeting that he had called.” A deep breath, and he steadies himself for what he’s about to say. “Mori named me his heir.”
