He had posted the story with the intention of Lando seeing it, but not expecting him to be the first. He threw his phone onto his bed when his phone lit up with a text message from Lando.

Lando made his way out onto the podium, finally stepping onto the top step. Looking out at the sea of papaya, at the fans, at his mechanics, at his team principal, and finally, his eyes landed on his teammate.
Lando was expecting at least a hint of jealousy or envy or even anger in Oscar’s eyes, but there the Aussie was, staring at Lando like he was the sun.
Smiling as if he was the one on the podium.
OR: Lando is too tired post win to go to a party, so Oscar invites him over for what was /supposed/ to be a friendly game night between teammates.

Social media has pretty much always been the cause of his downfall, and this time, Instagram’s algorithm is the perpetrator.
Oscar is a victim of it, having some sort of gay awakening while scrolling mindlessly on his private account—there is no way in hell that he would use his professional, verified account to waste time on social media. He had no idea he even had a thing for men until he came across one pl4yboykitten69. It’s a silly handle, probably one made jokingly before it was discovered that there are far too many thirsty people on the Internet willing to pay exorbitant amounts of money for a cheeky ankle picture.
