Summary
Tony was pretty sure that the small human left on his doorstep was just a (really fucking frightening) attempt at extortion, and mostly just wanted child protective services to show up yesterday. Then an extended trip to Afghanistan puts life, the universe and everything into perspective, and somehow, miraculously, Tony might be closer to happy than he's been in his life. He's even willing to accept the enormous pieces of the puzzle he's obviously missing. He should've learnt long ago that what you don't know will always come back to bite you in the ass.

Darcy was doing pretty well for herself, she liked to think. Excecpt then Captain America blew up S.H.I.E.L.D., and suddenly she's being pulled in for secret missions to save Hawkeye, getting kidnapped, spending an unhealthy amount of time with Tony Stark and receiving care packages from the Winter Soldier. How the hell is this her life? Also, Tony is so right. No man should ever wear eyeliner unironically.

Summary
Almost a year after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bucky finally stops running and lets himself be caught. Safe, for the first time in the better part of a century, surrounded by allies and with his best friend at his back once more, things are finally looking up, except something's missing, something's pulling and tearing at him, and he can't for the life of him figure out what it is, what secret is hiding in his wrecked memories. It doesn't help that the Tower stinks of alpha bitch, that its AI is leaving him incomprehensible clues and that its mysterious owner is nowhere to be found.

Maria takes more convincing than that, so what's a girl to do other than stock up on the examples?
