There’s a prominent sign over the top and in large red letters, it says KISSING BOOTH. Henry ignores how his heart sinks a little as he notes how many people are lined up, waiting for their kiss. He can’t say he’s surprised by the substantial crowd in the queue because, let’s be honest, who in their right mind would give up a chance to kiss Alexander Claremont-Diaz?
His mouth suddenly dry, Henry swallows and drags his eyes away from Alex, noticing the other signs posted around the booth. He spends a moment reading and can’t help the incredulous expression on his face. It seems that not only is Alex charging people for the chance to kiss him, but he’s going to offer feedback. The signs explain that, for a minimal fee, Alex will kiss his customers and rate their technique. He’ll give advice on how to improve their “macking mojo and smooching style.”

Alex is reeling, thoughts flying around out of control because holy shit he’s not going to be able to forget that face for a while. The fullest lips he’s ever seen on another dude with the softest looking hair fanning over his forehead, and the bluest eyes quite possibly in the history of the world. Until this exact moment, Alex’s possible bisexuality had been a theory, tucked away in the back of his head. Now though. Well.
“Alejandro?” She asks, and Alex blinks. By the tone of her voice, it doesn’t sound like her first time trying to get his attention. “You there, dude?”
“Fuck. Sorry, Nora. Yeah.”
There’s an extended pause, and Alex doesn’t know what to do with that. He doesn’t know what to say either, his brain hasn’t quite rebooted all the way.
“So is there something I can do for you, or…?”
“Right.” Alex licks his lips and takes a deep breath. “Bisexuality, no longer a theory. Hashtag confirmed.”
Nora goes so silent that Alex pulls his phone away from his ear to check that the call hasn’t dropped. When he puts it back, she says, “Is this a bad time to tell you that June is also here, and you’re on speaker?”

Summary
In the sci-fi smash-hit movie Binary Light, Dev Creehil (played by Alex Claremont-Diaz) and Qindeli (played by Henry Fox) go from enemies to reluctant allies to friends. While a legion of on-line fans believe that arc should have included a ‘to lovers’ at the end, the behind the scenes truth is that the lead actors stayed firmly enemies to enemies throughout filming.
Fresh off a brutal breakup, Alex is back for the sequel and back to dealing with Henry—the asshole Hollywood nepo baby who has failed to conceal his disdain for Alex ever since their first chemistry read. In the script the shippers will finally be getting what they’ve always wanted, but, as some of Henry’s ice begins to thaw, what Alex wants has become decidedly more confusing.
