Summary
The first thing that Dick registered was that his brothers were in danger. With the mess of metal and glass around them, he needed to make sure that Jason, Tim and Damian didn’t accidentally cut themselves.
Then, when he blinked, he realised that they weren’t just in danger; they were already hurt.
The car had flipped but Dick only vaguely remembered the way it felt to be thrown around by the force of it, his seatbelt cutting into chest. In fact, he struggled to recall exactly what had happened to them, all he knew was that they were on a country road with no cars passing by and that his younger brothers needed him.

“No.” Damian said.
“I don’t want this either, Bud,” Dick said. “But everything’s going to be just fine. Go find B. He’ll… Know what to do.”
“I am not leaving you Ric- Nightwing.”
In truth, Dick didn’t want Damian to leave him either. It had always been a fear of his; dying alone.
But while the mere thought of dying alone was terrifying, the idea of Damian watching this happen was far worse.

Viktor is dying. He had known he was. There’s no way around it. He’s been sick for many, many years. The people around him know, of course, how could they not? He is sickly looking. Pale, gaunt features, with thin hair and a protruding skeleton. He coughs up blood constantly, leaving spatters on railings and banisters and even articles of clothing behind him to dry and flake. It is obvious that he’s not entirely healthy.
But nobody knows that he is dying. Not until he collapses.
