Maybe Daisy had been away too long because she clearly doesn’t remember the dedication Simmons has to helping people, and especially her friends. She has her flaws, sure, but no one could ever say that Jemma isn’t loyal to those she loves.
“Absolutely not!” she yells out, whirling around to look over her medical supplies to see what she can do for her friend’s wrist. “You are going to get your butt back here and let me take care of you,” she growls in a soft, dangerous way. “It’s bad enough that you’ve left me all alone but I won’t let you leave me for good because it- it would tear me apart! And you may not care that that may be where you’re headed but I do, so if you won’t take care of yourself at least let me take care of you!” her voice has risen louder than she ever thinks it has been directed at Daisy, and she takes a few seconds to breathe before turning around to face her again.

A sharp “Peter!” from the phone draws him out of his thoughts, and he startles. MJ snorts as he tumbles to the ground, yanking the chair over with him, but her eyes are on the phone screen, taking in the princess. She must not have noticed the call when she came in, especially with Shuri’s sudden quiet (well, until now)
“Who is this you’ve been hiding from me, colonizer?” she demands, all authoritative royalty, sans the smile playing across her dark features.
MJ turns to him, a smile on her face to mirror Shuri’s, if not a lot scarier. “Yeah, Peter!” Shuri nods her approval at the other girl, and Peter’s eyes widen.
“Oh no, oh no no no no no no, are you two going to form some scary lady cult thing?!” he panics, scrambling off the floor, “because Mr. Stark and King T’Challa will nevveerrr forgive me for introducing you two if you do-,” he would have rambled further, but Shuri cuts him off.
