Who knew one name could cause so much agony?
I am Finnick Odair.
I am fourteen years old when my life, my future is ripped away from me. When I am forced into the Hunger Games, made to fight against twenty three other tributes, the majority being much older and stronger than me. I will never forget the horrors I experience there. I will never forget how they reached for my heart and tainted every last ounce of joy with something sinister, every memory causing a flash in my mind to blood that stains my hands that will never quite fade, to hands and lips which spoil my skin with dirt.
I am fourteen years old when I realise the real horrors of the world, when everything I know is taken away from me. It will continue to be. But there's one difference between me and them, one thing I have that they don't.

Summary
Annie did not want to spend the better half of her night half-carrying, half-dragging an incredibly heavy and unconscious Finnick Odair off of the beach in District 4.
This is quite literally the last thing that she ever thought she would be doing with her free time, and also one of the things she wanted the genuine least, but here she is. Dragging his mostly limp body through the sand, wondering if she could hoist his body over her shoulder without waking him up.
Though, Annie thinks, the man seems to be pretty much dead to the world. She didn’t bother trying to shake him or yell his name or anything stupid like that — Finnick Odair is a Victor, and Annie knows well enough to not fuck with Victors. She’s seen the Games, everyone has seen the Games. She doesn’t blame them for the shit they had to do to survive, but she knows damn well that she isn’t going to go kicking the proverbial hornet’s nest by triggering a Victor’s fight or flight instincts.
So Annie is dragging him, asleep, to her house in the dead of night.

“Regulus,” Sirius finally said, once he trusted he had his own voice under control, “has never once let me help him, even before I was a filthy blood-traitor. Why the fuck do you think I’d be able to save him now?”
Tomorrow night. Kreacher’s words throbbed inside his head. Regulus will die tomorrow night.
Sirius definitely wasn’t going to be getting any sleep at all this week.
Sirius thought he had cut all ties with his family, but when Kreacher shows up in his bedroom with a dire warning, he's hardly able to let his idiot little brother die. And when he learns about the Horcrux his brother was chasing, he's hardly about to let him take on Voldemort alone.
But getting tangled up in the House of Black again is not the best way to prove his innocence among an already-suspicious Order. Sirius has to walk a fine line if he wants to keep everyone he loves alive.
