There were no feelings that they let themselves get entangled in; it was just sex, as needed, and there wasn’t anything more they really required from one another.
“Kyo?" Die’s voice pulled him from his thoughts. “Are you okay?”
Kyo faltered. What really made his and Kaoru’s arrangement work was, he had to assume, the fact that no one else knew a thing about it. It felt wrong to lie to Die"s face, but he couldn"t imagine his reaction if he found out the truth. "Yeah, I"m fine," he said.
