Summary
In a world still reeling from a brutal war, Kurama takes refuge in his solitary garden. He views the persistent intrusions by his fellow god Hiei as a nuisance. All he wants is to be left alone.
Hiei decides to draw Kurama out from his garden with a lure the god can't resist: a bet.
Kurama thinks that once he's won the bet, he'll be rid of Hiei. But, right from the start, nothing goes as he expects it will.
