"I, er, there's something we need to talk to you about, actually," said Alicent.
Aemond looked up solemnly, without speaking, having a look much smarter than the one of a two-years-old.
"When mummy was at the hospital, the doctors found an illness in her blood, called leukaemia," Rhaenyra said. Three pairs of purple eyes turned to her, two clouded with confusion, one with alert.
Aegon spat what he had in his mouth, "mum's got cancer?!"
"Yes," Alicent said simply.
