    Summary

    This is my three part attempt to replace canon with something much less personally infuriating. Just like a majority of other people, I was incredibly upset when Eugeo died at the end of episode 24 of Alicization. Then I realized that I am a writer and if it bothered me that much, I should probably do something about it. What started as a means of airing my frustrations to the world quickly became a journey of deep dive researching canon to make this as close as I could possibly get it to the original. I also made two rules for myself in regards to changes. The first being that the only things I would change would be things directly impacted by Kirito's decision in Prologue I. Some of these things were big, like Eugeo surviving. Other things were small, like the amount Alice gets paid for chopping down trees now that Eugeo is negotiating the pay check. Rule number two was my exception to rule one. If I perceive canon to be stupid and dumb and make no sense, then I will also change those things (see the last third of Chapter Two). I hope you all enjoy this because I certainly am!
