Summary
Harry's life could be said to have picked up speed since he and his friends helped the Weasley Twins guarantee a Lockhart-free third year at Hogwarts. He has a seat in the Wizengamot, a shiny new apprenticeship, and a mad serial killer of a godfather on the loose, and the world seems to get darker and darker with each new revelation that comes to light.
Salazar just wants his nephew to be happy and safe. Well, perhaps that simplifies his aims somewhat, but it seems a nice little package for him to wrap everything else up in. Unfortunately, there are a few obstacles yet undealt with, but he is not above doing whatever it takes to remove them.
What could go wrong?

Summary
Harry has survived his first year at Hogwarts, a school created by his uncle one thousand years in the past. The Philosopher's Stone is safe, You-Know-Who is gone, most of his school year is more united than any cohort seen in centuries, and everyone is safe and happy - right?
Unfortunately, the world doesn't seem to agree. His new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor is an absolute moron, his uncle is struggling with something that he refuses to talk to anyone about, tensions are rising at home, and nightmares about dragons just won't leave him alone - and he hasn't even got to Hogwarts yet.

None of Harry's magical accidents or Petunia and Vernon's previous experience in the magical world could have prepared them for the arrival of a relative that Harry never knew he had - or the discovery that the wizard who left Harry to die has been quietly stealing Harry's inheritance behind the scenes and squandering Harry's chances at a good life.
Fortunately for Harry, his family is more than happy to support him, and his newly-arrived second uncle is hell-bent on correcting everything that one Mr Albus Dumbledore has done to screw Harry over.
