Summary
Overnight Leah is dropped into a strange, dangerous world full of magic and monsters. After being saved from certain death by Elissa Cousland and her faithful mabari Bones, she decides to fake amnesia to hide the fact that she is from another world. Leah's first priority is surviving Thedas. Her second is to discover how she got there and and find a way home. But there is no way for her to anticipate all that Thedas has in store for her. For every sorrow and terror there is equal joy and triumph. Leah must find a way to reconcile, accept, and perhaps even embrace it all, the good and the bad, if she is going to thrive in her journey through this strange new world.

Who is, honestly, just shocked that she never stabbed him in his sleep.Banter and bonding and an exploration of Feelings About The Egg (for those of us who play humans and can't have the bastard break our hearts but have Feelings anyways.)
“And to think,” he murmurs, “I’ve crafted such careful lies for you, Inquisitor.”
“I particularly like the one where those scattered Elvhen artifacts help ‘strengthen the Veil’, not the Veil’s creator.”
He chuckles, then. “What a fool you must find me.”
“One of my favourite fools. Did you know,” I add, “that were I an elf in this world, I could have had you fall in love with me?”
He looks skeptical, at best. “The elves of this time are not true Elvhen.”
“They’re not,” I nod, “and yet the great Fen’Harel finds himself smitten with one.”
“Impossible. Prove it,” he challenges. He seems more open, at ease, than in all our dealings before.
