Summary
In a world filled with Talented people, Valeriy Henry Janitor really wasn’t anything special. Sure, he had a weird surname which was used daily as a first name, and people kept on pronouncing their actual first name wrong, but that’s about it.
… If you ignored the fact he had such absurd luck to get held hostage in a hero-villain fight while they were returning home from a day’s work.
It even was on the day his phone was getting repaired. He had no way of checking his messages for a villain attack alert.
Janitor sighed. Why was it always them?
And someone suddenly threw a grenade in front of him. The villain Manea, who was honestly terrifying, and the new hero associate, Frostburn, were arguing about ethical bullshit, so before they could properly warn the two about the grenade, it exploded-
… into glitter.
Shocked, unraveled, Stanl- I mean, the three stared at the glitter bomb which had been disguised as a grenade in silence.
Then Janitor got grabbed by the collar, and was lifted off the ground.
