Madara’s hair glows blue sometimes. Only when he turns just a certain way in the light or when the flames he blows get hot enough to reflect the blue back.
To Tobirama’s dismay, he first makes this observation in the battlefield, always aware of where the force of nature moves. Madara’s chakra is raw heat that burns hotter than any other of the dark-haired red-eyed Uchiha on the battlefield. He is his brother’s opponent but his presence fills the clearing where their clans clash.

When Madara awoke, he had expected darkness.
Caught off guard on a mission gone awry, injured, and trapped in a blizzard, he had been easy pickings for a party of Hagoromo Kekeii Genkai traders. Though he put up a fight, it was ultimately useless. He was poisoned, his eyes taken, and then left to bleed out in the snow. He had expected death at best, and blindness at worst.
He had not expected to wake up in his clan's medical ward, eyes still fixed in his skull, healed, and with a fresh soul mark on his cheek.

After all these years, they were finally making peace with the Senju. They could not allow this to fall through just because the elders are demanding a marriage alliance. Normally, Madara would even think it’s a good idea. That is, if a marriage wouldn’t expose the Uchiha’s biggest secret: Madara isn’t Tajima’s oldest son, but his oldest daughter.
