Summary
Izuku's dad happens to be All Might, the number one hero. All Might also happens to be the number one shit dad.
Shouto's dad happens to be Endeavor, the number two hero. Endeavor also happens to be the number two shit dad.
Raised to be rivals, Shouto and Izuku grow up separate. But when their paths cross at UA High, they learn to understand each other and eventually grow closer together than anyone could have possibly predicted.
And if their relationship pisses off their respective dads while they're at it, well that's all the better.

He'll just have to learn to use the worlds latest to appear quirk while training to be a hero under Eraserhead. Wait. Eraserhead just expelled him? After telling vigilante Izuku he could be a hero for months he expelled him on the first day. You know what? Fine. Izuku will spend his days doing vigilante things and teaching Eraserhead a lesson. Izuku Midoriya had always wanted to be a hero; it was his childhood dream and he had devoted a large portion of his life working toward that goal in whatever way he could. He wondered if it was the day that he failed the UA entrance exam or the day that his doctor announced to him that he was quirkless that led to him working his current job; soaked in sweat, in an awful smelling rat costume, mentally preparing himself for the gratuitous amount of torture he was going to receive simply for trying to entertain the devilish children waiting for him outside.
Surely, things couldn't get worse than this.
