- Go to the doctorsIt was benign. They were dumb. It shouldn’t have meant anything to him, but it did. His list of impossibilities. However, he could now feel the weird asymmetric beating of his one heart. His very human heart.
OR
The Doctor finds himself in an unfamiliar universe, in an unfamiliar body, doing the one thing he never thought possible: Be Human. Maybe the one adventure he was certain he could never have was the best of them all, and maybe he could finally find happiness in taking the slow route.

Summary
Jackie Taylor loved two things in this world: Soccer and Shauna Shipman (not specifically in that order). When she graduated she didn't expect much from her life. Her best friend was going to another state for college, and the sport she had dedicated most of her life to was over. She was going to Rutgers with an undeclared major expecting to be destined for the same miserable life her mother had. Then she got a call and her entire life was spilling into something she had never expected. Her best friend was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's baby, and she wasn't about to let her go through it alone. And maybe she did deserve to be happy after all.

I'm throwing my hat into the No Plane Crash AU ring because these characters deserve some peace.

Before the prophecy of the Seven. Before the Battle of Manhattan. There was another group of demigods trying to survive on their own. A family formed by circumstance and fate, fighting against monsters and gods.

My take on the PJO prequels. Who was Luke before Kronos?

Summary
Shauna had lived her life grieving, she lived a memoriam of the girl she once considered part of herself. When she finally dies she thinks that she'll finally find peace from it all, instead, she's faced with the girl she lost all those years ago. Now she has to actually deal with all of the feelings she buried.
Jackie has been waiting for Shauna, but she's not quite ready for the reality of having her back. She hasn't fully come to terms with her feelings for her old best friend. She's also convinced that Shauna still hates her. She's trying to be cool about it, but it's difficult to fix something that was broken decades ago.
or
Shauna finally kicks the bucket, she and Jackie have to finally deal with the feelings they've been harboring while apart, and Nat's stuck in a house with both of them.

Summary
Nat was angry at the whole situation, and not simply because the entire thing was just fucked. It wasn’t because someone she trusted literally stabbed her in the heart, or that just as she was trying to get better (wanting to be better) the choice was taken away from her. No, it was because she saw stupid Lottie Matthews in her dumb death vision, and somehow that means that all the fucked up Wilderness, Yellowjacket, Antler queen bullshit was maybe, sort of, right. And damn it if she lets Charlotte Isabelle Matthews get the last word.
Or
I saw a post talking about Jackie and Nat being friends in the afterlife and ran with it.
Maybe if these two were left alone they'd start having philosophical conversations about their relationships. Maybe it's an excuse for me to deeply examine the relationship between Jackie and Shauna and their characters as a whole, while Natalie thinks she can get away with deflecting from her own feelings towards Lottie (too bad she also gets psychoanalyzed).

Summary
“Yeah, unless I don’t finish my degree.” It’s a grumpy little mumble, barely meant for Yelena, but she responds to it nevertheless.
“What do you mean?“ she demands. “You only have a small amount of time left! Why would you stop now?”
“I don’t know,” Kate murmurs, and Yelena is bewildered to hear a faint echo in her own emptiness, coming from nearly six thousand kilometers away. “I just don’t really know what to do now, I guess. Clint says I’m the new Hawkeye, but that’s not official or anything. And even when it is, it’s going to be a lot of training. So I’m waiting to wait, or something, and — and I don’t know why I’m talking to you about this, actually.”
“Sometimes, it’s nice to just talk,” Yelena thinks and then says. “But I don’t think you should drop out of school, Kate Bishop. School is cool.”

(Yelena decides to go to college. It just so happens to be the same one Kate Bishop attends.)
