TROS rewrite. Contains spoilers for TROS.
Palpatine never comes back. Instead, Rey and Kylo Ren continue to have a Force Bond despite Snoke telling them that he created one. Trying to juggle leading the opposite sides of the war and dealing with the Force Bond can only last so long, so they try to find a solution.
I always read fanfics but never write them but I feel the need to fix the horrendous film that is TROS. Please let me know what you think.

Summary
Anakin Skywalker, his apprentice Ahsoka Tano, the faithful Captain Rex, and Admiral Wullf Yularen all find themselves and their fleet far out of place, and have to contend with an unanticipated foe, and circumstances that are too wild for them to believe.
i.e. The Gang does time travel (accidentally and unintentionally) and ends up arriving in the year 0 BBY, coincidentally the same year everyone decided to change the calendars.
Paths collide as the past faces the present, the present clashes with the future, and everyone has to contend with how the world has changed.
