Starscream stares at himself in the mirror. The reflection that looks back is not his. It's gaunt, optics hardly bright enough to create a small reflection on the glass. He thinks he sees several more dents and scratches on his face plate that weren't there before, but then again he doesn't look into mirrors often. They are avoided like a disease that would rot the plating from his protoform. Maybe they are. Seeing himself like this should elicit some response of horror or surprise at the least, but it doesn't. Starscream can't bring himself to care about his appearance anymore. At one point it was a defining part of his personality but...now...

Nothing else is going on, nothing is wrong, he's just doing his job so everyone can get by and he'll continue to be their calm, their comfort, look, he even FOUND what he was looking for! Nothing's wrong. He's fine. Really.
