He hung on the brink of death as he managed to knock on the door to beg the owned of this castle for help, he was surprised and and terrified when he fully fledged vampire opened the door, even more, when the vampire didn't appear to be as cruel as he always believed these creatures to be.

It only took another moment and he pulled the little human out of the weird blanket and he held the little human in his strong arms. They were so small. It was like a switch had been turned as he turned to his mate with the little one pressed against his chest. He didn't need to say a word as his now soft eyes met with Dabi's. The other God just gave a chuckle before he moved closer. It was now his turn to inspect the small human. He knew his mate had gotten lonely.
After all, for years he had been able to take care of small humans and raise them. They would grow up to be High Priestesses. Every single one was one he would consider his own. He could tell that his mate had yearned for another little human. And their soft scent must have done it to his heart in no time. He just gave a small sigh, "Sure, let's take this little one in." He could tell his mate was immediately happier as he held the young human in his arms as humans would with their children.
