Bucky Barnes' mother died two years ago when he was sixteen. George wasn't necessarily affected but wanted to find a 'replacement' in the home, and thus picked up and emergency room nurse.
Natalia Romanova didn't see much in George Barnes, but agreeded to move in, split household responsibilities and rent. It made it easeir for her, so she wasn't living paycheck to paycheck. And she figured at one point, she would be able to have a healthy relationship with the 50 year old buisnessman.
But instead, after a hard 24 hour shift in the ER, and a raging houseparty, Bucky and Natalia found themsleves in bed with each other.

However, now that he's in too deep and sexually and almost romantically involved with one Brock Rumlow, he does start to find he's less interested in the contract, and more interested in the family, and the bond.
