Kissed his cheek in gratitude that one night he spent looking after a sick Madi, when she had a deadline to make. His face had never felt so hot. One time, as a good luck present for starting high school at the end of August, she got him a really expensive leather-bound copy of the Iliad, just because she knows he likes it that much. He tried to refuse, but she insisted, said it would go to waste on her bookshelf, that it deserved to be loved properly.
