Summary
Gon does not understand. Who are these people and why are they looking at him like that? As if something horrible just happened.
“You may not remember me”, says the first one – a man in a business suit, with a short beard and a pair of sunglasses on his sharp nose, his voice croaked and with a certain tension in his shoulders. “M-My name is Leorio Paladiknight. I’m your friend, you see. And, here, next to me, is…”, he continues, while slowly looking at the last person in the room. Suddenly, his voice sounds lower and more careful, and Gon frowns because that's really weird.
“Killua”, finally says the boy after a few seconds, averting his gaze as fast as Gon tries to catch it.
His voice, Gon notices, has a strange vibrato and is just a little above a whisper. For a long moment, Gon can’t tear his own eyes away from him; his shiny white hair that falls like a lion’s mane, his stylish clothes, his porcelain skin and slender body. And, more than anything else, his eyes. His very, so very pretty blue eyes.
That very beautiful boy, Gon thinks, earlier, has been looking at him as if his entire world just fell apart. Somehow, for a reason he can’t quite point, his sadness makes Gon's heart clench in his chest.Bookmarked by Cmatana24

Summary
Four years after the climatic battle with the Chimera Ants and Gon's rebirth, Killua is hurting. Trauma still lingers within him from all that he experienced, and he hasn't seen Gon since they departed at the world tree, choosing instead to travel and care for Alluka. What will happen when Gon can't take their separation any longer and seeks Killua out himself? How will the pair deal with the unresolved issues between them, the unspoken feelings, or the resurgent threats that aren't quite done with them yet, even after all these years...
