It had been three years since Madam Yu had sold Wei Wuxian to the Wen pack. Being an omega, he was immediately married to Wen Ruohan’s eldest son, Wen Xu, who had lost his first wife to illness, leaving his newborn son without a caretaker. Wen Yuan was immediately given to Wei Wuxian to care for, and in those three years, Wei Wuxian had grown to love Wen Yuan as if he was his own.
Of course, men couldn’t give birth, so eventually Wen Xu took on a second wife who overshadowed Wei Wuxian, finally giving him the time to plan an escape. Wei Wuxian had no qualms with Wen Xu, he treated Wei Wuxian with respect and was patient as long as the young man didn’t embarrass him.
