Summary
Zylas et Vh'alyir is the first ruler of the Twelfth Demonic House in living memory with the skill and ruthlessness to fight back against the slow genocide of his house by the other eleven. Since only Vh'alyir, the weakest of the houses, is safe from the humans who summon demons for use as fighting slaves, the other houses hold them responsible and enact there revenge at every opportunity on any Vh'alyir they can find.
Except something has gone wrong, and now he has also become the first of his house to be taken. Trapped in a summoning circle, Zylas now faces the choice thousands of demons before him have faced - serve or die.

Summary
For millennia, humans have summoned demons to fight for them. Bound into contracts, the demons givie up their freewill to contractors for the slim chance that they may survive to see their home world again. Those demons who refuse, die.
Hundreds are summoned every year, a slow genocide that is ripping apart the very fabric of their society. Of the Twelve Demon Houses, all are prey to the humans. All but one. Vh'alyir - the twelfth house, the weakest of them all - is alone safe from the summoners. The reason long-lost to the violent and bloody retribution brought down by the other houses, who believe Vh'alyir's immunity is proof that they are responsible for summoning.
Zylas et Vh'alyir is the first Dīnen of his house in longer than anyone can remember to truly fight back, to become a force to be reckoned with. A hunter who is feared, he is determined to protect what little remains of his dying house.
Until, he becomes the first of his house to be summoned.

Crowley entirely fails to cope with the loss of Aziraphale, and decides to lean into the demon side for a while. Not happy in the least, pure misery.
Set immediately after and in the time that follows the end of season 2 but before season 3 because please don't let this actually be what happens to my poor disaster puppy.

The morale in Heaven and Hell is low after the failed Apocalypse. Punishing the traitors (effectively this time) seems like a good idea to raise it for both sides - the angels would see what awaits them if they dare to disobey and the demons could just use some fun. Summary
Crowley's PTSD following the events of Repossession makes it difficult for him to leave the bookshop. Aziraphale worries that all the time spent associating "bookshop" with "safety" is making Crowley's recovery harder, and decides to push Crowley into running a solo errand. Crowley does his best, but triggers abound.
Be warned, this is a brutal one. There is a graphic flashback to a scene of sexual and psychological torture that does not appear in Repossession (but is pretty canon compliant with the events of that fic imo), so please be mindful.
