Summary
Mickey's taken into care and shares a room with Ian, whose scent drives him mad.

Then the smell hits him; heady and intoxicating. Mickey's head spins and his stomach pools with heat. Saliva gathers in the back of his mouth and he has to swallow, feeling heat prickle along his skin. It takes him a moment to realise that it's Ian he's smelling, his alpha scent thick in the room, better than anyone he's ever smelled before. “Yeah,” Mickey asks, just as slow, as quiet. “What did you lie about?”
It could be anything. Something private, something old. He turns his head to watch the breath that fans over Ian’s lips. Sees him sitting there, like a statue, marbled and cold. And he wonders, just fleetingly, just for a moment, a slither of one—if even—whether or not Ian understands how pretty he is.
