His students are far more attentive than he ever could've hoped.
Or: Five times Professor Pankratze's students step up to help a witcher when no one else will. And one time it's the other professors who take up the task.

Summary
Twenty years ago, the Warlord of the North came down out of the mountains and slew the king of Kaedwen, taking crown and kingdom for his own. Everyone expected him to be overthrown almost immediately, but he has only grown ever more secure in his position. Finally, the other countries around Kaedwen have begun to negotiate with him as they would any other king.
To seal the new treaty between Redania and the Warlord, Lady Milena de Roggeven, third daughter of the Duke of Roggeven, has been sent to marry whichever of the Warlord’s men he chooses.
Milena is starkly terrified of everything about her new husband; every rumor she has ever heard about the barbarians of the north seems worse than the last, and Lambert clearly despises the very thought of marriage.
Lambert of the Wolves is still grieving his lost lover, dead more than three years now. The last thing he wants is to be married off to a terrified stranger, and he can’t imagine why Geralt and Eskel think he of all people is suited to a diplomatic marriage.
And neither of them suspects the treachery that lies behind the treaty which binds them together.

Summary
The guy’s eyes travel from George’s face to the bottles floating in the air. A large grin showcasing his fangs has George twitching. Yet the childlike joy is even more unnerving.
He exclaims way too loudly and eagerly, “Are you a witch!”
George stares at him incredulously. Maybe this is above his capabilities.
Instead of calling the guy psychotic, he licks his lips and once again narrows his eyes sharply with disdain, “Obviously.” He address the guy with an aire of distaste, “Vampire.”
George has nothing against vampires. Just ones that are as insane as this one.
The vampire’s green eyes narrow in return. His lips morph into an abrupt frown, “What are you talking about?”
Or, Constantly saving an idiot who forgets he’s a damn vampire three times a week wasn’t on George’s agenda when he moved into the neighborhood. Well, at least the guy’s hot

She moved the tea things to one side and set a bottle of wine down instead before resuming. “Jaskier, if you are only now figuring this out, what exactly happened when you ran off to that school?” she asked.
Yennifer made a smothered noise next to him.
Jaskier turned a betrayed look in Yen's direction. She was restraining herself from laughing, wasn’t she? He was having a very trying day and she thought it was funny. The utter bitch. He hadn’t wanted to push her into a mud puddle this badly since...
Well. Ages.
“I hope you crack a rib,” he hissed at her.
