Bruce did not think he had a soulmate.
At least, he has pondered before the odds he had not met them with all his travels as Bruce Wayne and Batman. The odds seemed incredibly long given that he'd been globe trotting, planet and galaxy trotting, even dimension trotting.
It wasn't a painful point. Truthfully, it was more Bruce never gave it much air to be painful, never spent much time contemplating the mark of swirling stars nestled in a crown on his wrist. There was always something else more pressing.

Summary
Danny hadn't meant to find Batman in that cave, he'd just been trying to fly around and relax. And he definitely hadn't meant to find the Hero with his Cowl off and in the middle of a mental breakdown.
Bruce thought Tim had died, only for an unknown meta to carry Red Robin out of the wreckage and to find an unknown teenagers phone in his lab.
Danny needs to learn to ask for help. Bruce needs to protect this naïve teen Hero.
