"So,” he drawled, letting a smirk grow and flower. “You’re a fairy.”
Derek savored the bitchface he got in response. He knew it wasn’t ever a good idea to fuck with the fey-folk, but what the hell. This was Stiles. Annoying, stupidly unlucky and ridiculously lucky (which, given the news, started to make a completely different sort of sense), obnoxious, persistent, stubborn, opinionated Stiles, and it wasn’t like he hadn’t earned every ounce of shit he had coming to him.
(And it was Stiles, brutally loyal, ruthlessly pragmatic and stupidly brave. Stiles who was there when and in ways no one else had been, never requiring so much as a nod his way, showing up anyway. Stiles, who he trusted in ways he’d never admit, not even to himself. So they said you should never trust the fey. At this point in the game, he’d never not trust Stiles.)
Stiles recovered enough to point his finger dangerously close to Derek’s canines, but that wasn’t anything new. “First of all, fuck you, asshole. Second of all, I know you know better, you Unseelie motherfucker.”

Peter makes an anonymous call“Gerard Argent!”
Stiles’ heart stopped. There at the top of the stairs was Stiles’ father. Flanked by two deputies he looked like a gun toting avenging angel. Stiles had never been both so relieved and so terrified to see him.
“Sheriff Stilinski,” Gerard purred, looking way too calm for a person who had just been caught torturing three minors. “What a surprise.”
“It shouldn’t be,” his father growled, stomping down the stairs to grab Gerard. He wrenched the man’s hands back to cuff them together. It didn’t look like he was being very gentle about it. Stiles was just the tiniest bit pleased by that. “You abducted my son. What were you expecting to happen?”

Stiles spent the first week after waking up in the hospital, after apparently having a seizure, freaking out. He asked a multitude of different, hysterical questions that made his dad interrogate him worriedly about how he was feeling.
Stiles spent the second week freaking out Scott and cursing Deaton with all the strength he had. The first time they met up after he’d been discharged, Stiles looked Scott straight in the eyes and asked him, very seriously, “Have you, by any chance, been bitten by a werewolf in the middle of the night after finding half of a corpse?”
Scott gave him a long, blank stare, before shrilly responding, “Stiles, what the hell?!”
Stiles took that to mean that Scott had not, in fact, been gallivanting off in the woods looking for dead bodies.
Or the mortifying ordeal of dimension travel and all the morally dubious quandaries that come with it.
