Fingertips trailing across a few of the bottles, he lands on the mocha and he swears he can almost taste the rich, bitter coffee with sugary sweet chocolate mixed in. Jisung’s mouth waters as he grabs the first two bottles and drops them into his basket, though he nearly jumps out of his skin when he hears a smooth voice murmur, “Good choice,” right behind him.
Bristling, Jisung’s head snaps to the side in time to see the same alpha from the tofu aisle, though he’s much closer this time around. His heart is in his throat, that same tingle from his fingers creeping up his neck as their eyes meet yet again. Even with the mask, he’s able to tell the man is smirking at him as he walks by and it’s then that everything connects into place for him, because that tantalizing scent starts to dissipate the further he walks away. Chan moves to the other side of the sleeping mats, pulls the blankets back enough to slip underneath and lie down next to his new husband. Minho rolls away from him and onto his side, huffing a little, but his scent has evened out. The burnt edge of it is gone, leaving behind nothing but smooth honey and sweet peach and that enticing hint of something green.
Minho sighs, the shape of his body rising and falling gently under the blanket. “Go to sleep, Your Highness.”
“You don’t have to be so formal, you know.”
Minho makes a noise at that, exasperated. “What do you want me to call you? Did you like seobangnim? Or would you prefer alpha?” He snorts to himself, tugging at the blanket a little. “I don’t think so, Bang Chan.”
