Harry’s knees feel weak. He stumbles a few feet closer to the other boy and then stops. His chest feels tight, and his vision is swimming, and he doesn’t know how to ask for what he desperately needs.
“I’m, I’m—” he stammers, his hands shaking.
Draco looks around them at the empty library, and then back at Harry. “Come here,” he says.

Harry was excited to come back for one more year of Hogwarts. One last year where there’s nothing to worry about, no basilisks or dementors or psychotic murderers.

Summary
Harry has a different introduction to the wizarding world with the intervention of Fate, who has watched the boy marked by death since the horrible day that Harry’s parents died from Voldemort’s wand. This introduction snowballs, giving Harry a new life, a life where he can be true to himself without expectations, without holding himself to the standard of normal because Harry isn’t normal, he’s extraordinary. He starts without the bias of thinking everything is black and white, that slytherin equals evil. He won’t have to live in pain and his abuse won’t be ignored. He’ll get the justice he deserves, even if it takes time.
