Slowly, the fox looked up, and their eyes met. Just like that, it felt like it was enough. There would be no need for coaxing - rather, Cyno knew just this would provide all the relaxation Tighnari needed.
This - the bond they had - would always be enough.
“You’re home,” He breathed out, a voice so croaky that Cyno knew that he’d been muttering to himself all night, buried in work and refusing to rest until it was done.
Cyno returns from a work trip only to find that his home was lacking the liveliness it usually had. Cyno knows that Tighnari needs all the comfort that he can offer, and he's willing to give it to him.

Summary
It starts with a shitty joke on his coffee cup. He figures out that the next General Mahamatra is working in a cafe he frequents. It snowballs into observing pretty eyes and thinking his white hair looks soft under the moonlight.
Frankly, Tighnari isn't very amused, but unconsciously he grows to enjoy seeing Cyno around, much more when it comes to spending time with him.

“Show me.”
There was no preamble to Cyno’s entrance into Tighnari’s hut; just heavy, frantic stomps and the thrust of a tanned, lean forearm through the curtain and then suddenly the General Mahamatra was there, winded, eyes roving, the crackle of lightning an invisible aura around him.
“Let’s try that again,” Tighnari drawled. “’Hi, Tighnari. How are you? I was just stopping by—.’”
Tighnari lost his words as Cyno ate up the distance between them. “Show. Me.”

Post Tighnari gets struck by lightning because I like every Cyno/Tighnari shipper am a simple fool.
