Started writing this series in 2020, and then COVID hit and work became a total shitshow and pretty much tanked my capacity for anything else, so here we are adding to it in 2023. I do have fics outlined and in some cases drafted for all the Fëanorians, but clearly I have already proven myself inept at posting remotely on time. Pretty varied in length, tone, and content, so heed the tags.

The first letter Essek receives from Caleb Widogast is secreted into his pocket at some point during a tense interview with the Bright Queen. For the life of him, Essek cannot figure out how it was done. He doesn’t recall so much as brushing against the other man as he escorted the Mighty Nein out of the Lucid Bastion.
Yet when he returns to his office, there it is, tucked into a nearly invisible pocket in his mantle — a piece of subpar parchment folded to vaguely resemble a cat’s face with tiny pointed ears.

Wei Wuxian automatically glanced at Lan Zhan, but Lan Zhan wasn’t looking at him. He was staring at the purple robed stranger, shock written all over his face. Wei Wuxian grabbed Jin Ling and circled around.
“Lan Zhan,” the figure said. People didn’t tend to have the experience of hearing their own voice the way it’d sound to other people, but Wei Wuxian supposed that that was the least of his concerns right now.
A Wei Wuxian who's the sect leader of Yunmeng Jiang is displaced into this world. Wei Wuxian, ex-Yiling Laozu and current husband of Hanguang Jun, has unexpected feelings about it.
