What if Draco's story had been different than the one we know?
The bond between him and his father withers before it can take root, while his relationship with his mother blossoms to the point of putting aside his father's racist teachings. But everything comes with its own consequences.
Draco will learn this during his time at Hogwarts, between friendships with energetic boys and girls with dubious moral compass, a head of house who seems to want to adopt him, an overprotective house elf, housemates with too much free time and a couple of brothers who hate him unjustifiably. Oh and let's not forget Harry Potter, the boy who insists on talking to him.

Summary
Getting stranded in London and having to live with your disowned cousin for a few months changes a man. When that man is an eleven year old boy named Draco Malfoy, those few months can have a profound affect. Its even worse when said cousin is a Hufflepuff. Watch Draco struggle with his feelings on being sorted into the wrong house. As well dealing with the issues his friends and family throw at him being a badger amongst snakes.

He's then sorted into Hufflepuff, and really, has to come to terms with what this means whilst also dealing with his ever growing fear that his father might be, just maybe, one of the bad guys. This is a good Draco Malfoy rewrite looking into how he became good. Will update as fic is continued.]]
