    “Fischl, it’ll be fine! I promise you, the prophecy likely doesn’t mean what you think it does-”
    “I cannot fall to the vice of love- I have no need for it! This I swear on my majesty as Prinzessin, I shall not let such evil conquer me and impair my tongue!”

    Or, Mona divines Fischl’s love life, and the Prinzessin mistakenly thinks that the prophecy means she’ll lose the ability to talk if she finds true love. Being the yapper she is, she tries to avoid falling in love at all costs. But of course, fate cannot be avoided.

    Btw, in this fic, Fischl is 14 (pre-Summertime Odyssey, before Fischl, Kazuha and Xinyan went to the Immernachtreich-island) and Barbara is 15 :)

Some of the turned-up traits are still there though, just less extreme (Sayori is depressed and has survived a suicide attempt, Yuri cuts herself SOMETIMES, Natsuki's dad is still terrible but not to the point of beating her up).

    Sunny gets therapy. Basil gets therapy. Aubrey gets a better and bigger bat. Everyone is happy! Except for the fact that Sunny told everyone he killed his sister. And let's just pretend he hasn't already been to seven different therapists in the past month, each one giving up on him.

    Ended up more angsty than I planned but there's still a decent amount of crack. Oops..
