Blink’s head twists around, an almost unnerving amount were it not for him being an owl. He studies Runt’s body language, no doubt noticing Runt’s increasingly labored breathing, broken up by the occasional cough. He seems undeterred by Runt’s glaring, and after a moment or two, he speaks up, “Are you alright Runt? You look like you need a break…”
Runt groans, flicking Blink’s beak, “I’m fuckin’ fine bird brain. Are we going to the dumb library or not?”
Blink shakes his head at the sensation. He clearly doesn’t believe Runt, but he turns his head back around, “No, I think we can all use the break."

Runt totally has asthma, and living in an area like Reclaim definitely doesn't help that

Summary
William knows it’s going to be a bad day as soon as he wakes up. To be honest, he was kind of hoping he’d managed to avoid the consequences of using his powers too much this time around but apparently not!
His body feels heavy. Not quite connected to himself. Like at any moment it’s going to sink six feet into the ground leaving his soul behind to roam this desolate mortal plane for all of eternity.
He makes a noise of frustration and sluggishly forces himself into a sitting position.

So really, William had worse problems to deal with. His headache wasn’t the biggest concern. But god, did his head hurt.
One moment, William swore that he had barely managed to check the three of them into a motel nearby with what money he had. He had made some sort of agreement with Dakota and Vyncent (that William was really struggling to remember) while they were trying to settle in the room and figure out where to go from there.
And then now, William was here… somehow (he honestly didn’t remember the walk here, that probably wasn’t very good).
