naruto, well into his early twenties, can recognize exactly what his bond is to sasuke. it used to be a childish whim of rivalry, but he can see the red string of fate tied to their pinkies. above all else, sasuke is his soulmate. the ice to his fire. the most important dream he has is to have sasuke at his side.
a gentle, soft retelling of sasuke accepting naruto's love for exactly what it is: all-encompassing, forgiving, and patient.
